The Courage Knife is the second blade in our Mountainside Mettle Series, designed for those who need a larger, more robust outdoor tool. Built for chopping, batoning, and demanding field tasks, this knife is made to take abuse while remaining reliable and precise for detailed work. Whether you’re processing wood, clearing vegetation, or foraging wild edibles, the Courage is a go-to blade for serious wilderness use.<\/p>\n

Featuring a 6.5-inch 1095 high carbon steel blade, the Courage offers dependable strength with the flexibility to handle both heavy-duty chopping and controlled carving. The Sabre grind, 90-degree spine, and full tang construction provide durability, edge retention, and flint-striking capability for fire-starting in survival situations.<\/p>\n

Expert-Driven Design<\/strong><\/p>\n

This blade was developed by seasoned knife designer Jason Breeden, in collaboration with Jason Marsteiner and instructors from The Survival University. The Courage Knife reflects decades of combined outdoor experience and is purpose-built for fieldcraft, bushcraft, and survival under harsh conditions.<\/p>\n

Ergonomic Grip & Rugged Sheath<\/strong><\/p>\n

While many large knives can feel awkward or bulky, the Courage Knife is balanced for performance and comfort. The ergonomic Micarta handle ensures a secure grip during hard use, including hammer-fist techniques. The pommel features a scraper for additional fire preparation utility.<\/p>\n

Manufactured by Condor Knife and Tool Company, the Courage includes a Black Kydex and Cordura ambidextrous sheath with two expandable Ferro rod holders (fits 3\/8\u201d to 1\/2\u201d rods). The sheath is designed for customization, giving users the freedom to adapt their carry style to their needs.<\/p>\n
